THE SETTING

Know the place.

The guided visit begins in the Roesch House across the street before continuing to the Rossetter House, gardens and garage. Guides connect the buildings to the people who shaped the area, with the Houston family cemetery included as an optional walk.

Allow about 90 minutes for the tour. This is a planned history experience with a guide, so arrange it before your day out instead of relying on a walk-in museum visit.

A LITTLE PLANNING

Before you go.

The museum requires at least 24 hours' notice for tours. Its published schedule is Wednesday–Saturday at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.; book by phone or email using the visit page.
Special events can change tour availability, and rain can change the garden portion. Discuss walking or access needs when booking.

Guide checked October 5, 2026. Confirm the venue’s current hours, event details and availability before traveling.
