THE SETTING

Know the place.

Dreamland turns a gallery visit into something you can play: 18 indoor putt-putt holes created by local artists and other creative contributors. It is an activity to build into a family afternoon or a date before dinner.

The surrounding Derek Gores Gallery is a contemporary art and project space with exhibitions, pop-up ideas and workshops. Use its separate class listings if you want to make art as well as see it.

Before you go.

Enter through Rocky Water Mercantile next door at 1420 Highland Avenue. This is the current gallery location, not the former Foosaner museum building.
Tickets are available online or in person, with no reservation required. The last round is sold 30 minutes before closing, and minors must be with an adult.
Check the day's hours before heading over; the published Friday and Saturday sessions run later than the weekday and Sunday sessions.
