THE SETTING

Know the place.

Onyx brings fiction, history, poetry and children’s books together with gifts from Black makers. Browse books alongside art prints, journals, candles and other small finds for an outing that is about discovery.

The shop also publishes a book-club selection and signup information. Its current storefront sits on Strawbridge Avenue near the gallery and civic theater, so all three can fit into an arts-focused visit.
