Know the place.
Moon River combines a cafe visit with downtown’s literary and creative side. Its calendar features local music, art exhibitions and community gatherings, while the cafe also publishes a literary journal and poetry anthology.
Choose a coffee visit or pick a specific performance or poetry date from the calendar. It gives you a different evening option from a bar or dance floor without leaving New Haven Avenue.
Before you go.
- The current site lists Friday–Sunday opening, with a shorter Sunday. Check its posted hours before making a weekday coffee plan.
- Use the cafe calendar for the actual event date and start time. A poetry or music listing does not mean entertainment runs continuously.
